“Traffic” is a 2024 release by artist Zarooni. Zarooni is an Emirati/British artist from London, England. Zoorani has a quite noble goal for his music career that will surely touch the hearts of many people. In a world that seems to become more divided by the day, this up-and-coming artist has a vision that uses music to unite any and all, no matter the nationality or culture—one track at a time!

Traffic is a song that any person is likely to be able to identify with, for everyone has experienced a situation in which they either had feelings for someone who did not return them or loved a person who did not put forth the same effort in a relationship. The great thing about this song is it will have you bobbing and grooving to the beat before you realize, ‘Wait, this song has a very deep meaning,’ but it is so catchy I just got right back into the groove as it continued playing.

Another thing I noticed was the unique quality of the instrumentals. After a bit of research, I came to find out it was due to the inspiration of traditional Emirati music. I believe this artist will be able to bridge cultures and open people’s minds to the idea of checking out some music from his culture, and that is something that only a great artist can achieve. I definitely enjoy listening to “Traffic” for both the lyrics as well as the very catchy melody of the instrumentals as well as the vocals that are so well framed by them. I look forward to hearing what other pieces Zarooni releases in the future.
