Each Measure Feature: Giantheo

FEATURE

In 2003, Giancarlo Prandelli met Matteo Sainaghi, aka Theo, and immediately a magical feeling was created that led them to form GIANTHEO, participating in and winning numerous international competitions and climbing to the top of the most important charts. They participated in Italian television shows, festivals, and events. After a period of parallel projects, GIANTHEO reunited and released their first single, entitled CONCHIGLIE, preceding the album to be released in September. Giantheo has written around 300 excellent songs, and now the time has come to open the drawer! Two independent chart-toppers with Uni Verso and Mar Profondo in 2022—now with Figli delle stelle...2023, four seasons, and finally, Mother Earth. The first single of 2024 is Tommy Al Luna Park. Hey TU, the ballad of Giantheo, September 20, 2024

Building on the momentum of the previous year, GIANTHEO continues to deliver with the release of “Tommy al Lunapark” in May this year. The duo releases a brand new single titled “HEY TU,” which translates to ‘Hey You,’ a dazzling new song that serves as a declaration of love. The composition begins with expressive voices and delicate piano plinks, then gradually builds with drifting atmospheric textures and beautiful melodies. Hey Tu is a soul-inspiring track that combines commercial pop with indie pop to create a heartfelt love song. Hey Tu is very emotional, as we can see its portrayal in the music video, where we see cut scenes of an emotional shirtless performance of Giancarlo Prandelli on stage. The video starts with Giancarlo Prandelli sitting, and we see Matteo Sainaghi at exactly 00:15 on the piano during the song's opening and a projected image of stage performers behind him with light paper flowers paying homage to their home country.
