It's the ideal soundtrack for anyone seeking to add a dose of fun and excitement to their playlist.
THE INTERVIEW
What song or moment in time sparked your passion for music?
I became passionate about music in high school and the songs that inspired me were definitely the songs I’d listen to in the car with my dad.
If you had to create a Mount Rushmore of inspiration, what four individuals molded the artist you are today?
Wow! Okay great question. I’d say The Beatles, Post Malone, the Kid Larroi, and Michael Jackson
How does your creative process work from the moment you develop the idea to the completion of the record?
It depends every time. Usually once I hear the chord progression I’m able to start fleshing out melodies. Melodies are always first for me, although there are times where I look at my list of unwritten song titles in my phone and am able to connect the sound of the instrumental to a title I’ve previously thought of.
As for this release, who is the producer and what about the production moved you?
The producers on Something for the Weekend were Shepps and King Wizard, this is actually the first release of mine that I technically didn’t produce on ( which is different for me). The overall feeling of the moving synth and spacey guitars inspired me from the jump.
When it comes to the songwriting on this record, what is the message you want to get across to your listeners?
I think for this record, the message is more light hearted - I want listeners to relax and enjoy the music, not every song has to have the deepest meaning. I will say that it was inspired by a true story during my first visit in Vegas!
