Meet Our Founders - Daniel Robert and Naomi Cheyanne
Each Measure started with two ideas from two artists with one big plan. In 2019, Daniel Robert was working to develop artists through his years of experience in music production, engineering, and songwriting. His expertise and genuine talent was easily recognized by new artist Naomi Cheyanne who visited Robert at Iconica Recordings at the end of that year. Having released only two songs, Cheyanne was fresh out of college looking to pursue her career in music even further. Her guidance and support of having Daniel as an engineer and producer accelerated her journey as an artist tenfold.
In only two years, Robert worked with Naomi to create and produce "Beyond The Bounce" a Podcast dedicated to Women in Music, release Naomi’s Debut EP “In My Home,” which surpassed 100,000 streams, as well as a handful of singles including Naomi’s latest “Behind”. Already spending countless hours listening, creating and dissecting music “Each Measure” was an easy choice for the pair.
NAOMI CHEYANNE
Spending years writing and performing as a child, this Long Beach native immersed herself in RnB and Pop genres. Her distinct vocal melodies and intuitive lyricism was easily admired by listeners. Fueling her passion for writing and recording, Cheyanne started an independent music production company known as Smug Sounds, helping thousands of independent artists through songwriting, music production, marketing and playlist curating.

Raised in Hollywood, surrounded by the arts and the industry, Daniel found a love and passion for music early. Songwriting, producing and engineering are just few tools this creative has to offer. With his unique approach he has gone on to develop and help the launch of multiple careers across an array of genres.
