THE MUSIC
Setting the scene for new beginnings and overcoming challenges, “Behind” (prod. by Daniel Robert) simplifies finding strength through self-observation using rhythmic instrumentation. The song was created based on Naomi’s experience of moving out of her hometown to pursue her dreams as an artist in Los Angeles.
THE LYRICS
The song opens with Naomi’s realization of her current circumstance:

The moment the guitar picks up and the hook indulges in an undeniable groove, Naomi’s decision to move forward has been made:
