THE MUSIC

"Sabotage," the title track of the EP that opens the album with a bang. It is a high energy pop song that delves into the internal struggles one faces in a relationship. Incredible production including the guitars to the lush synths. The bounce and pocket in the drums alongside a fitting baseline groove really complete the arrangement. The lyrics speak to the feeling of being triggered and wanting to walk away, but also the battle with the self that arises from the walls and stories we've built to protect ourselves from getting hurt. The song reflects the feeling of self-sabotage that comes from holding onto these walls and stories, and the fear of digging deep to address what is blocking us from fully opening up. The song is a personal reflection of Jordan’s own experiences, as him and his partner navigated the 2-year mark in a relationship and questioned if their core values and relationship goals aligned. We promise you'll regret missing this one!

THE LYRICS

“There’s no talking when your loud

We can’t keep pretending like we don’t fight

And I don’t think that i can stay”
