Emerging from a time of loss and mourning, Cory Legendre finds light in the dark through a country-rock memorial album titled “REUNITED" to honor his late parents. Born and raised in Maine, Legendre now resides in Texas, where he creates his music. His music is expansive, as his creative drive takes him through country, rock, dance, and pop genres. A creative, musical spirit at heart, Legendre stepped away from performing as a result of health complications. Regardless, Legendre has not let life stop him from pursuing his musical passion. “REUNITED” is his first album since his hiatus and it is even more special as a tribute to his parents.

“REUNITED” was released July 24th with help from lyricist David Alan Johnson, composer Chas Evans, and Producer Master One. The album came about as a result of Legendre’s late mother who encouraged him to “do something far more creative” than a funeral to commemorate her death. The album’s personal and emotional significance is clear upon first listen. Legendre’s vocals are somber and heartbroken, while calm laid back rhythms back his words. Lyrically, he tells the story of family, love, and loss while simultaneously sending a message of healing and closure. Legendre creates a listening experience that touches the hearts of listeners, especially those who have faced similar loss.
