Australia’s Bubbling Artist Billymaree releases her single “Melrose”

THE ARTIST

Previously known for sharing her Soundcloud demos such as “Tonight” and “Somewhere,” Five brilliant releases later, Billymaree releases her single “Melrose”. 2022 proved to be a big year for this rising star. Consistent releases and collaborations such as “Higher” with Dj Discretion and JKING built unwavering attention. This artist is set for new heights and someone to keep on your radar.

THE MUSIC

The Australian singer-songwriter begins the record with a detailed description of an encounter in Los Angeles. She goes on to express her battle between the lust, her actions and an experience she said “aint something that I’d do before”. The BeatswithSheph production uniquely compliments this songstress through a serenade of sax, keys, hard hitting drums and a moving baseline.

THE LYRICS

Billymaree sets the scene by opening with a night ‘cruising down Melrose’ but quickly warns:

“I gotta let you know

I’m a bit toxic

You should know this

Know this”

Failing to find answers, she questions what this relationship is:

“I’m so wrapped up in you, tell me what you wanna do

Cuz I’m so stuck on the love and lust”

We are very excited to continue following Billymaree’s climb and looking forward to what she has to offer in 2023.
