Born in Guangzhou, China, Wayne Wei is a singer-songwriter, musician, and producer whose performances showcase his talent in each of these facets. To his listeners, Wayne's music is a visual and auditory showcase. Inspired by some of the greatest musicians of our time, including Stevie Wonder, Prince, and the Beatles. His love for retro R&B, soul, and psychedelic funk is on full display with this EP. This ability to discern the enigmatic rhythms of the earth is evident when listening to his sound.

To kick off 2024, Wayne dropped his first EP, "Cloud Chaser," composed of four songs arranged by himself down to the minute detail. The album takes its audience to a phantasmagoric domain, in which the disorderly nature of human existence is revealed. Spinning out of control and then back again, only to reveal moments of beauty lurking amid chaos. The self-titled track, Cloud Chaser, is one of our favorites and sure to get you moving. Stay is full of beautiful harmonies and melodies you can get lost in. Overall, the EP is a must-listen!

Spending years writing and performing as a child, Long Beach native Naomi Cheyanne was recognized for her talents early on. Immersing herself in RnB and Pop genres, Cheyanne’s distinct vocal melodies and intuitive lyricism was easily admired by listeners. Fueling her passion for writing and recording, Cheyanne started an independent music production company known as Smug Sounds in 2020 helping thousands of independent artists through songwriting, music production, marketing and playlist curating.
