THE MUSIC

The release of his fifth EP through Torrez Music Group, “The Girls from Cedarhurst” is a five-track collection that shares Seneko’s electric evolution with a guitar-focused rock sound, channeling some of his own favorite artists like Lou Reed, Coldplay, Wilco and The Jayhawks. In addition to seasoned songwriting and bright guitar melodies, listeners will hear lush multi-layered arrangements and relatable lyrics that pay homage to Grunge and Punk influences. The title track was co-written with an old friend of Seneko's, Rod Thorn. The other four tracks were all solo efforts by Seneko.

Seneko shares that “The Girls from Cedarhurst" has been his most fun release yet: "I had been listening to a lot of early Grunge and Punk. As I began writing I realized I wanted to be more experimental with the melodies and arrangements and that process kept evolving right into the studio during the recording... Of the five EPs I’ve done so far this one was the most fun to do and I hope that comes through." Seneko is proving that he has a lot to offer the music world. With its catchy melodies, meaningful lyrics and diverse inspirations, “The Girls from Cedarhurst” is a project full of depth and thoughtfulness. As fans listen to this album, we can rest assured that Seneko will continue delivering his best music yet.
