Experienced artist and lifelong singer Samuel Makanda is making his mark on the indie pop scene. Inspired by the likes of James Brown and the pop of the 80s & 90s, Makanda has released two albums in the spirit of those influences, including his most recent “Character Assassination.”, which dropped on May 22, 2024. He has also performed at LIVENDIRECT - THE BLOCK IS HOT (vol.2) in Louisville, Kentucky earlier this year.
