“Owe My Life” is a 2024 release by artist Nocko. Nocko is a testament to the power that God has to turn anyone’s life around. No matter how far away one may seem, it is never too late to turn back to The Creator and start over again.

“Owe My Life” takes the listener through the life of Nocko. From times when a chaotic lifestyle like those that are often glorified by pop culture, to a time of deep transformation through a spiritual journey. I personally identified with this song because I had a similar past, and I found the song to be very inspiring. I also believe that it took a lot of courage for the artist to be as transparent as he is with some of the lyrics.

One sure way to tell if a person’s spiritual transformation is genuine is by the way they see and portray the past. The way I judge in this case is by the lyrics, “To justify, I was doing it for the fam, but I was lying. I was living out the fantasy”. To me, this speaks volumes. I also really like the lyrics, “I owe my life—after everything I did, I say that’s a fair price.” This really is a very powerful song, and I can see it making a large impact on many people. This is the type of music that inspires youth to become the best versions of themselves as they grow into adults, and if all artists were creating music like this, then the future would look much brighter.

I encourage any reader to go check out this track. It is very good from the start to the final lyrics: “On God, that part of my life has ended.”
