Multi-faceted Juliet Callahan steps into the “Spotlight” with new single

THE ARTIST

Los Angeles-based artist Juliet Callahan is here to put on a show. Unafraid to mix multiple genres shared in her previous release “Ghost Girl,” this upcoming artist hits us with another showstopper. This release marks a first for the rising star as she showcases her multiple talents, serving as singer, songwriter, producer, and audio engineer. After spending the last year honing her skills, she is ready to take things to the big stage.

THE MUSIC

The track opens with a bouncy bassline that instantly grabs your attention. Callahan wastes no time setting an assertive, confident tone. Addressing naysayers and doubters, she takes you front row through her unwavering emotion.

“Spotlight” is a pop-trap blend that draws inspiration from artists like Rihanna and Britney Spears. The record as a whole is stark contrast to her previous releases and a pleasant surprise. Upbeat, feel good, and unapologetic. Spotlight is a song about self-acceptance, aimed at helping listeners tap into their inner confidence while embracing their true selves.

THE LYRICS

“I’m that girl they talk about

I kill the game without a doubt

So If you’re jealous run your mouth

If you got problems work it out”

“Tell me tell me what you want

I’ma really f*ck it up

I’m turning up in the high life

I’m burning up in the spotlight”

We can’t wait to see what’s next and look forward to an encore!
