THE INTERVIEW

If you had to create a Mount Rushmore of inspiration, what four individuals molded the artist you are today?

If I were to create a Mount Rushmore of inspiration, the four individuals who molded the artist I am today would be Adele for her powerhouse voice, Lady Gaga for showcasing limitless creativity and mastery of diverse talents, Madonna for breaking barriers as a pop rock superstar, and Whitney Houston for her skill in crafting timeless hit music.

Were there any specific challenges or breakthrough moments during the production of your new single that had a significant impact on its final form?

During the production of my new single, incorporating a more tech sound posed a unique challenge. We experimented with various tones and sounds to achieve the desired effect. The breakthrough came when we engaged in extensive audio tuning and crafted our own mixes, ultimately shaping the song into its final form.

Can you share insights into the collaborative process behind the creation of your latest single, including any notable contributions from producers, co-writers, engineers or featured artists?

The collaborative process behind my latest single, "Simulation," was a synergistic blend of individual creativity and shared vision. I wrote and crafted the melody independently, while my producer made significant contributions on keyboard and guitar. His expertise allowed us to align seamlessly in capturing the creative tones and flow I envisioned for the music. Together, we sculpted a song that embodies a dynamic mix of fun, power, and technical sound.

Can you articulate the impact or impression you hope your new song leaves on listeners long after they've experienced it for the first time?

The impact I aim for with my new song extends beyond its initial experience. I hope listeners resonate with the portrayal of relationship struggles, acknowledging the frustration and upset that can arise. Through my music, I express the emotions stemming from past experiences, conveying the message that it's okay to call out and feel upset about those situations. Ultimately, I want to convey that we've all faced challenges in relationships, and my music asserts that it's the loss of those who fall short.

Looking ahead, how does the release of this single pave the way for future projects, and are there any hints or clues about the direction your music might take in the coming months?

The release of this single sets the stage for future projects by maintaining the theme of relationship struggles and drawing from personal experiences. It serves as a continuation of making relatable music for those who may find it challenging to articulate their emotions. As I've entered new relationships since my last release, the coming months will unfold with more stories and insights into various facets of these experiences, offering a diverse array of relatable narratives in my upcoming releases.
