Each Measure Feature: Diana Omar

FEATURE

Diana Omar is an independent artist from Maryland whose sound combines pop with indie to create an excellent body of sound. Currently attending Yale, trying to combine a creative approach in an academic environment is no easy task. A punk schoolgirl in her own style, Omar brings a powerful aroma of strength and rebellion. Diana doesn’t just create; she writes about self-discovery, love, and personal experience. Omar’s keen on supporting adolescence and wants to encourage youngsters to engage in STEM. She is an advocate for breaking barriers and bringing diversity to a plethora of areas.

Through her latest work, “Imagine That,” she opens a threshold for youth growth and the realization that nobody really cares. With recurring, friendly underlines, the song’s first expression hints at adolescence. The message of the goal is critical: take charge of your dreams and don’t expect others to help you. “Imagine that” shines light on teenage inspiration and independence while giving you a nostalgic feeling. The uplifting tone of the guitars and drums really drives the record, while Diana’s vocals steal the show. Once again, we are eager to see where this talented artist lands next and can’t wait for what’s to come.
