Were there any specific experiences or events in your life that influenced the song's lyrics?

In general, my fathers passing got me into guitar and songwriting. The game was on. Spirituality, truth, desire for real love and freedom. Addiction, confusion, loss .. and the desire for peace and self love.

Can you share any interesting anecdotes about the song's development with your co-writers or producers?

It started as me humming into the voice memos . There was the hook! My main man Jamie Brown - my songwriting partner and producer - helped develop it from there and the verse melodies came quick. A song about looking into the dark corners and coming out the other side.

What was the biggest takeaway or lesson you learned while creating this song?

That I’ll always work with Jamie. We make a good team ❤️

How has your recent growth as an artist influenced the direction of your future work?

That’s usually Influenced by the early song ideas and where I am at energetically - I like to keep a consistent and familiar sound scape but like to change things up too! I have a 7 minute song to record soon which follows no rules at all! Haha. Big love xx
